Interfaith Food and Clothing Ministry for the Homeless

The Interfaith Food and Clothing Ministry for the Homeless takes place every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays 10:45am at Victory Family Church’s parking lot (10664 135A Street, just across the Front Room Homeless Shelter).

Each family/individual member is encouraged to cook/bring a dish that they would cook for or eat with their own family members and bring to share with our homeless guests.

Organizer Arun Chatterjee describes the initiative as: “A place to stand beside the most vulnerable and marginalized people of our own community. A place to have a chat with them and share each other’s story. A place to experience our own vulnerability, fear and judgments and gradual freedom from them. A place to discover our collective humanity one Saturday at a time. A place to let your spirit unfold and get inspired to follow your own calling.

Our members from all walks of life and faith traditions bring a dish or two that they would cook for their family members to share with our homeless brothers and sisters. This ministry is running for last five years.”
